My thoughts about...
My thoughts about...
I will admit, I am a HUGE Guitar Hero fan. I wont lie or deny it. I like to pretend I am a guitar goddess while playing.
I own Guitar Hero: 1,2,3, rock the 80’s and now, I am the proud owner of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.
I was highly anticipating this game for such a long time. I had preordered this game since about April or something.
With that being said lets skip to the part where I get to play. I go up to Gamestop (within the mall) and grab my game. Immediately I stop and read the cover to it. As i held it in my hands, I could feel the anticipation building inside. I get an icee while I am there (cause who doesnt love icees?) and rush home. In fact, I rushed home too fast that I ran a yellow light. Here in New Orleans, we have these damn red light photos. If you run a red light, the camera takes a picture of your license plate and issues you a ticket. It is questionable if I would receive a ticket or not.
So I get home and immediately start to play.
It is not what I expected at all!
I honestly thought that the entire game was going to be all Aerosmith songs. WRONG. You play a set of songs (like all the others) and if you are good enough, you have the option of bringing out Aerosmith for the next song. And if you are good with that song, then you have an encore song. Dont get me wrong, it is a great game. I love all the songs that have been selected. Towards the end, Joe Perry challenges you (just like Tom Morello, Slash, and Lou in GH:3).
Great game overall. My only beef with it is that I wish that there was more “challenges” like GH:3 had in its game.
It receives a 4 star out of 5.
